Britney Spears has revealed who is designing her wedding dress.
The signer announced on Instagram that Donatella Versace is making the gown she will wear when she marries her fiancé, personal trainer Sam Asghari.
Spears, 39, shared pictures and a video in which she posed in a sheer pink dress before teasing that this was not the one she would be wearing at her wedding.
She then revealed that Versace was currently making the gown she will wear.
The signer wrote: “No … this is not my wedding dress bahahah !!!! Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak …. Have a good night folks!!!!”
It comes as Spears said she had been praying as she prepares for a crucial court hearing which could bring the termination of her conservatorship.
The pop superstar could regain control of her personal life and finances on Friday when a judge in Los Angeles hears arguments to end the complex legal arrangement she has been under since 2008.
Spears scored a significant victory in September when her father was suspended from his role of overseeing her money.
Jamie Spears, 69, has since called for the conservatorship’s immediate termination, though his daughter’s lawyer has accused him of attempting to dodge difficult questions about his work on the arrangement.
Mr Spears’s lawyers sought to defend him in a court filing, saying “all he wants is what is best for his daughter”.
Meanwhile, the popstar revealed she was engaged to Asghari in September, posting a video on Instagram where she showed off her diamond ring.
The engagement came in a year where Spears exploded back into the headlines following the release of the documentary Framing Britney Spears, which scrutinised her conservatorship.
The film also explored the celebrity and media landscape at the time the star suffered a series of public meltdowns, including shaving her own head in 2007.
In June, the singer delivered bombshell courtroom testimony in which she made a series of damaging allegations against those overseeing her life and career.
She alleged she was being prevented from marrying her boyfriend, having more children and described the conservatorship as “abusive”.
